The South African National Hydrographer's Message in response to COVID-19

“The recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has the world scrambling to “flatten the curve” and slow down the spread of this disease.  South Africa has not escaped the reach of this pandemic.

During the mandated “lockdown period”, the South African Navy Hydrographic Office (SANHO) will remain open for business as an essential service to the Republic. In an effort to protect our staff, we will enter into a rotating watch system ensuring that all functions remain capacitated at all times.  We have prioritised our services to the following:

We are doing everything possible to minimise the impact of service delivery to you our valued clients and stakeholders.

On behalf of the SANHO team, I wish you, your team and families all the very best in these trying times.  Please stay safe and keep well.”
